If your loved one needs to recuperate after an operation, a short-term stay at a Sunrise Senior Living community could be just what the doctor ordered. Designed for stays of a few days to several months, the short-term stay program offers seniors all the services we provide our regular assisted living residents, including tastefully furnished private or companion suites, complete with a full bath and an emergency response system.

At Sunrise, we can provide a higher level of care than you might be able to provide at home. Short-term stay residents benefit from three delicious, well-balanced meals a day prepared by the community’s chef; personal assistance with daily needs like bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and medication management; and scheduled transportation, as well as weekly housekeeping and personal laundry services.

Short-term stay residents also have ample opportunity to see other people and to socialize. As members of our community, short-term stay residents are welcome participants in the round of social, educational, devotional, and recreational activities we organize.

Prior to their joining us, we bring seniors and family members together to conduct an assessment that helps us determine the appropriate services and care for each individual.
